zenon COPA-DATA - zenon controls production at Vigier in Safnern

Since 2002, zenon has been controlling and visualising production at the Vigier gravel plant in Safnern. In 2011, the company decided to completely renew the plant in order to maintain operational safety at a high level and to ensure productivity. They invested in the latest generation of Saia controllers and converted the internal IT from Windows 2000 to Server 2008 R2 64-bit. This meant that the control system also had to be adapted, and the changeover had to go smoothly.
