IoT message credits comprise the IoT messages exchanged between the device and the platform. IoT messages are the messages that are exchanged between the device and the cloud. Each time a device updates a tag variable, an IoT event is generated by the device based on the sending policy defined in Corvina and sent to Corvina. is generated by the device and sent to Corvina. This message is about 25 bytes in size. The length of an IoT message is 4 KB, which means that an IoT message comprises approximately 160 messages. If an event occurs between the device and the Corvina cloud, it is not counted as 1 message and is calculated until the full 4KB is reached. To ensure flexibility in the use of the IoT message, the licence for the IoT message is shared between all devices connected to the same organisation and can be shared across sub-organisations.
